Sunshine and Showers at Glimps Holm

Glimps Holm is a tiny uninhabited island with a long lazy beach of golden sand. It lies at the entrance to Scapa Flow, an area of deep water that forms a natural cove among the Orkney islands. The clouds flit over sunny blue water, little islands rise out of the ocean like seals and the air is pure. The image was made using techniques involving camera movement, this creates an impressionist style image that captures the evocative mood of the location.
